Reaching two decades in business is a significant milestone for any company, and when you consider the challenges of the past 20 years – from economic recessions to global pandemics – it's one we're incredibly proud to celebrate. It has been an exciting and rewarding journey, helping businesses of all sizes tell their stories through thoughtful design and creative thinking. Over the years, Bammedia has created logos for well-known local and national brands, developed marketing and brand strategies, designed eye-catching packaging with real shelf appeal, and built websites with personality that connect with audiences.

The business first opened its doors in June 2006 when founder and Graphic Designer Bridget Kerrigan decided to take a leap of faith. Having gained valuable experience working in some of Dublin's leading design studios, Bridget felt the time was right to build something of her own. Starting out with humble beginnings at the kitchen table with little to no clients but plenty of ambition, Bridget has grown Bammedia into an award-winning creative agency recognised both nationally and internationally. The studio's work has received accolades from respected organisations including the IDI Ireland and the European Pentawards, among the most prestigious awards in the design industry.

Throughout the past 20 years, Bammedia has remained intentionally small, working with a talented team of in-house designers alongside a trusted network of freelance creatives. Bridget believes this approach has always brought fresh perspectives and diverse styles to the studio's work, ensuring creativity continues to evolve.

In 2014, Bridget's husband Cormac joined the business full-time. While focusing primarily on the web and digital side of the agency, he also took on client management and business development, allowing Bridget and the creative team to spend more time doing what they love most – creating.

Bammedia's extensive portfolio, which can be viewed at www.bammedia.ie/work, includes brand creation and design work for national businesses and initiatives such as Shine, The Handmade Soap Company, Network Ireland, National Cyber Security Centre, Inland Fisheries Ireland, Visit Louth, FemFuelz, Nunaïa, Sea Louth and First Citizen Finance.

Closer to home, Bammedia has helped shape many familiar Drogheda and North-East brands and websites, including The Marcy, Nelly's, Docked & Navy, Love Drogheda, Meath Made, M1 Corridor, The Glyde Inn, McKevitt King Architects, Boyne Voyage, Aphix Software, The Mill Enterprise Hub, Izmoo, Nest and the fondly remembered Listoke Gin and Jack Cody's.

Now based in the heart of Drogheda, beside the historic Laurence's Gate, the agency continues to grow its client base, team and service offering. While its core services remain brand identity, graphic design, packaging design and website development, Bammedia has expanded into animation, video production, SEO, Brand Naming and Illustration.

As AI and emerging technologies continue to reshape the creative worlds, the team will always embrace what it has at its disposal. "Who knows where the next 20 years will take us?" says Bridget. "In 2006 when I started Bammedia, the design industry and digital landscape was different to what it is today. Our team will continue to embrace new technologies while staying true to what has always mattered most – being creative, doing things differently and helping businesses to make an impact."
