Mama Chef is the latest outlet of Mess Chef owner Roisín Matthews. This venture is parent orientated and is all about the art of merging the two roles that many parents juggle, the parent (mama) and the chef. MamaChef is a persona brand that encapsulates all of what Roisín offers; webinars, e-courses, digital downloads and branded gift and cookware.
Our new brand identity is a vibrant medley of colour and illustration structured around a solid strong logo. The logo mark is a clever, yet very simple, play on a standard light bulb, a symbol synonymous with innovation and ideation. We have replaced the filament with a chef's hat, essentially saying that we have lots of bright ideas when it comes to cooking for your family.
The lightbulb emblem is teamed with the tagline "bright ideas for savvy parents", the essence of what MamaChef is all about; helping parents to make meaningful changes to their family meal-times that benefit their lives, their health and their pockets.
Our bespoke set of abstract shapes can be used in a variety of ways to capture many different dishes and ingredient types, all centred around the most common of kitchen activities; meal prepping, planning and cooking.
The brand comes alive online. With that in mind, we developed key branded touchpoints that are fully editable for future use from recipe sheets to information slides / presentation decks.
We designed and set up multiple social media templates on Canva, allowing MamaChef retain a professional feel to all of her digital marketing, digital content and digital assets.
