Inland Fisheries Ireland is the national body responsible for the protection, management, and conservation of Ireland’s inland fisheries and sea angling resources. It works to ensure that fish populations—such as salmon, trout, and coarse fish—are sustainably managed for both environmental health and recreational use. The organization enforces fishing regulations, conducts scientific research, and develops policies to protect aquatic ecosystems from threats like pollution, habitat loss, and overfishing.
Bammedia was awarded the tender to design and produce the Annual Reports for Inland Fisheries Ireland, covering the period from 2021 to 2025. The brief centred on transforming supplied content and established brand guidelines into a cohesive, high-quality suite of publications. This involved structuring complex information in a clear, accessible way and using thoughtfully designed infographics to enhance understanding and engagement across the reports.

Our work on the IFI Annual Reports from 2021 to 2025 has delivered a consistent, high-quality suite of publications that strengthened both accessibility and audience reach. Producing each report in bothIrish and English, Bammedia applied Universal Design principles throughout, ensuring the content was clear, inclusive, and usable for a wide range of readers. Over the course of the project, the design evolved from traditional print formats into fully interactive digital reports by 2024–2025, incorporating user-friendly navigation and enhanced visual storytelling. This transition not only modernised the presentation of Inland Fisheries Ireland’s work but also supported a strategic move away from print, improving sustainability while maintaining strong engagement with stakeholders.
