The Drogheda Business Improvement District (Love DroghedaBID) exists to make Drogheda a great place to work, live and socialise. They are a collaboration of 1,561 levy payers; Local Business funding Local improvements and have been in operation since mandated in 2019. Their core aim is to ensure that Drogheda is increasingly known for its safe, attractive, and welcoming atmosphere by all those who work, study, live and spend their leisure time in Drogheda.
In early 2022 the Love Drogheda team approached Bammedia with the hope of redeveloping their website. They needed something that was design led and felt more punchy and vibrant, something that showcased the true nature of Ireland's largest town Drogheda. Most importantly they needed the ability to update their website themselves and with ease. They have a lot of active initiatives and events running throughout the town so it was important that the website was fully editable with blogging functionality. They also needed to maintain a link to their Love Drogheda Gift Card which most of Drogheda's retailers now accept in the town.
The website launched in June 2022 and has so far been met with a very positive public reaction. It's vibrancy and use of punchy yet friendly imagery and animated graphics gives it the injection of new life it needed. In the 90 days since launching the website's analytics have reported 1500 new users with a global reach across Ireland, Europe and the USA.
We structured the website around their four key pillars and created both flat and animated graphics that were associated with each of them.
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
