Finnegan’s are a family owned & family run farm, who are powered by potatoes. Brothers Joe and Paul bring to market a delicious range of par-cooked potato chips, wedges & baked potatoes, all of which are planted, grown, cooked and packed on the family farm in Balrath, Co. Meath.
Coming out of Bord Bia's Food Works programme, Finnegan's approached Bammedia with the intention to redevelop and rejuvenate their brand, allowing for their new 'heat and eat' range to become shelf ready. The packaging allowed us to remind the consumer that the product was convenient, nutritious and family run. The range has since grown in size and can be found in many stores nationwide.
The brand identity is built around a design system that uses organic shapes, natural colour tones and a playful illustrative style, to showcase the origin of the food and the family brand story.
Potatoes are a wholefood and this origin story is again emphasised in the logo where we can see the digging of potatoes.
As part of the brand strategy, a new tagline 'Powered by Potatoes' was drafted. This captured the Finnegan's brand essence of showcasing the nutritional aspects of the humble spud.
Packaging Design for the convenient 'heat & eat' range was delivered first followed by a range of packaging for the potatoes themselves.
Bammedia came highly recommended to us and now we understand why! Finnegan's aim was to create a brand that would stand out on the shelf, would get our message across but at the same time be fun, unique and professional. Bammedia delivered on all of these points. Bridget used her creative magic to come up with exactly what we needed, exceeding all expectations every step of the way.
