PURE OSKAR is a family run, Irish skincare brand specialising in ethical, natural, handmade, high-end soaps that was launched inIreland by Magda and Tony Seymour in late 2020. Set up by the mum and dad team after their baby son Oskar suffered reactions to mainstream products, they have a real authentic drive to bring pure & simple handmade products to the masses. Magda and Tony approached Bammedia to create the brand identity and e-commerce website as well as designing a cost effective interchangeable packaging system that would allow the new start-up retail their 16+ variations of soaps, 5+ gift-sets and 5+ scented candles as a premium gift solution.
Bammedia created logo, brand book, packaging design and e-Commerce website for us. It was a pleasure to work with Bridget and Cormac from start to finish. We asked for many different variations during the design process, and they worked tirelessly until we found the one, we LOVED. Incredibly creative, very professional, and responsive. We took our inspiration from the client's obsession with the natural ingredients in their soaps and created a series of bespoke illustrations that capture all of quirks and crooked edges of nature in a simple modern style. These were used as the lead visuals on the inner soapboxes as well as on web and on social.
Keeping the client's sustainable values in mind, we avoided the use of plastic across this packaging solution, opting for recyclable cardboard stock, a matt finish with no lamination and matt paper labels.
We created a natural yet high end vibe through our use of muted pastels and greens, mixed with a classic monochrome brandmark.
The monochrome palette and more obviously the sleek black strip unifies all products (soap gift sets, Curragh sheep and scented candle) purely and simply.
The brand retails predominantly from their bespoke Webflow E-Commerce Site. The site was designed to tell the brand story, showcase products and allows for complex bespoke selling options including a "create your Own" soap range.
